Outreach
Cold email that does not sound like cold email
First lines from a prospect’s world, not yours. A simple structure for sequences that actually get replies.
The first line should be something only that account could receive. If you can paste it into 40 other emails, it is not a first line. It is a slogan.
A working structure: observation, implication, ask. Observation is the change you saw. Implication is why it costs them. Ask is a short yes/no, not a 30-minute demo.
That structure works only after account research. The sales prospecting guide maps the full process, and the AI sales tools guide explains where an assistive writing or research tool may fit without replacing review.
Write the email you would actually answer on a Tuesday.
- One idea per email. Two is a newsletter.
- Cut the biography. They can click the link if they care.
- End on a question that can be answered in one line.
