Outreach
What to do when the thread goes quiet
A short playbook for the week after a good call: bump copy, a useful asset, and when to stop.
Silence after a good call is normal. Panic is optional. You need a bump, a useful thing, and a clean stop.
- Day 2: send the recap they can forward, not a ‘great chatting’.
- Day 5: one asset that answers the open question from the call.
- Day 10: a breakup that leaves the door open without a guilt trip.
If they were going to buy this week, they would have said so. Your job is to stay easy to restart later.
The sales prospecting guide covers the work that happens before the first message, while cold email that does not sound like cold email gives the first outreach a more specific shape.
